This version of Nontext has more features and is more practical than its predecessor. It utilizes the tab key for various functions. Nontext 1.1 also has more robust error reports.

Use the same installation process as before. Right click here to get the script. If you are using Mac OS X, run this command to obtain a Python module necessary for Nontext 1.1:
sudo easy_install readline

All of the old keystrokes correspond to the same commands. Here are the new actions:
- Dollop/fire + tab: Autocomplete file names or list contents of directory.
- Dollop/fire + last keyword: Reference the last file accessed.
- Jingle + tab: Prompt the user to jingle many characters in sequence.
- Keyhole + tab: Ask the user how many characters to view.
- Keyhole + tab + last keyword: Print the name of the last file accessed.
- Semielliptical + tab: Request an amount of characters to delete.
